En 2010 produjeron 55 mil 684 toneladas de miel con un valor de casi mil 726 millones de pesos.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3lo en Yucat\u00e1n hay al menos 17 mil productores ap\u00edcolas. La miel es para los campesinos de la regi\u00f3n una de las principales fuentes de ingreso, una forma de sobrevivencia. El a\u00f1o pasado no se logr\u00f3 la cosecha de ma\u00edz por la sequ\u00eda.
